NORTH AMERICAN TOUR WITH THE AMITY AFFLICTION ANNOUNCED "DISSOLVE" MUSIC VIDEO OUT NOW

This Fall, Equal Vision Records' Being As An Ocean will return overseas for a full EU/UK run with support from Burning Down Alaska, Capsize and Casey.

Being As An Ocean is currently midway through a European headline tour that has included several festival performances, as well as various one-off shows with the likes of Stick to Your Guns, Beartooth, Silverstein and Our Last Night. They will next head out on a recently announced North American run as direct support to The Amity Affliction, which will kick off on September 11 in Lawrence, KS. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.

Being As An Ocean announced their signing to Equal Vision Records in February 2016, with the release of a new song and music video for "Dissolve", which premiered via Alternative Press and is available now at Youtube.com/equalvision. They will release their fourth full-length album, and first on EVR, next year.

"Dissolve" was recorded in Atlanta, GA at Glow In The Dark Studios with producer Matt McClellan and takes Being As An Ocean in a more hook-driven direction while still incorporating the band's signature sound of sophisticated storytelling woven over lush, ambient soundscapes. The unique juxtaposition of Joel Quartuccio's gritty, impassioned vocal work and Michael McGough's gracefully soaring vocals creates a distinct blend that is both captivating and cathartic.

Being As An Ocean is comprised of vocalist Joel Quartuccio, vocalist/guitarist Michael McGough, guitarist Tyler Ross and bassist Ralph Sica.
